Professor Dr.-Ing. Frank Straube
Professor Straube studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technische Universität Berlin. In 1987 he was conferred his doctoral degree at Technische Universität Berlin in the field of logistics (under the guidance of Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Baumgarten). Frank Straube managed numerous logistical projects for the TU Berlin and did so for the private business sector from 1984 until 1989. For 12 years he was chairman and shareholder of the board in an internationally active consulting and planning company specialized in logistics and corporate planning.
In 2000 Prof. Straube became assistant lecturer for the management of logistical projects at the University Paris II (Pantheon-Assas), France, and in 2003 he became a permanent visiting professor there. After his postdoctoral lecture qualification (habilitation) in 2003 at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, he was chairman of the directorate and also founder of the Kühne-Institute for Logistics at the University of St. Gallen. Since 2005 he has been lecturing there as a permanent visiting professor.
In October 2004 Prof. Straube accepted a chair at the Technische Universität Berlin. Since then he is head of the Department of Logistics at the Institute of Technology and Management. In 2008 he contributed significantly to the formation of the chair of International Logistics Networks and Services at Tongji University, Shanghai, endowed by the Kühne-Foundation at the Chinesisch-Deutsches Hochschulkolleg (CDHK), and is a permanent visiting professor since then. Since 2009 he is the Cooperation Director of the partnership between the Abu Dhabi University and the Berlin Institute of Technology.
He is a member of the German Logistics Association (BVL) and was vice chairman from 1997 until 2009. He is also a member of the board of the European Logistics Association (ELA) in Brussels, as well as a member in supervisory and advisory boards of renowned corporations. Furthermore Prof. Straube is the founder of the International Transfer Center for Logistics (ITCL), which is implementing innovative planning and professional development operations for companies.

Professor Scott Webster
Professor Webster is the Bob Herberger Arizona Heritage Chair in Supply Chain Management at the W.P. Carey School of Business in Arizona State University Tempe. Professor Webster had B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University Oxford Ohio, MBA and MSBA from Indiana University, South Bend Indiana and Ph.D. in Operations Management and Decision Science from Indiana University, Bloomington Indiana. Professor Webster was Steven Becker Professor of Supply Chain Management in Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University from 2007 to 2013.
Professor Hans Christian Pfohl
Professor Pfohl is a visiting professor of international management at the University Of Pannoniain Veszprém Hungary. From 1982 to 2011 he was professor of strategic management and logistics at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Professor Pfohl is head of the Committee for Research and Development of the European Logistics Association (ELA) and Member of the Board of ELA; he represents the BME-Association Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics. In2011, Professor Pfohl was awarded the Hessian of the Order of Merit by the Prime Minister of the State of Hesse Germany.
